Gone are the days of carry around heavy guide books and endlessly flicking the pages to find out which hotels it is you want to stay in and restaurants you can eat it. Now to find out what's hot and what's not we have the Internet and what's more when you're on the move we have the app...
Whilst there are tons of lifestyle apps out there, we've recently been tasked with trying one out, introducing Peroni's Vivi in Style. The app features hidden lifestyle and fashion gems which have been written by a host of top bloggers and journalists. We gave it the test of taking us out around HQ one Saturday and we're pretty pleased with the recommendations from coffee at Tina We Salute You to shopping in LN-CC and dinner at Trullo. What's more we even discovered a few things on our doorstep which we never even knew existed - TwentyTwentyOne and Neo at the Barbican.
There's also a handy inspiration section with everything from interviews with top chefs to fashion trend pieces. Oh and it's not just London either they also cover Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol - sorted.
